F - AIR COLOMBIA 2008

MISSION AND OBJECTIVES:

To position the F-AIR COLOMBIA as the major growing aviation business platform worldwide destined to foment the aeronautical industry development provided its privileged geographical position and as the hub for the Americas.

The F-AIR COLOMBIA aims to become itself the leading business and commercial encounter in the region with the greater growth and looking towards to foment de development of the aeronautical industry by the exchange of products and services of the several fields such as:

Civil and Commercial Aviation
Military Technology
Air Defense
Technical Maintenance
Airport Equipment
Ground Handling
Avionics

HISTORY:

The F-AIR in order to commemorate the 15th operational anniversary of the Jose Maria Córdova airport servicing Rionegro, in 2000, decided to organized an air show which turned to be a major success in terms of the great acceptance showed by the aeronautical industry in general of the region, originating the strenghtness and continuity of such kind of events.

Hence, for the 29th and 30th of June 2002 the Rionegro’s First Air Show (Aeronautical Fair) was planned on the same airport. It offered the appropriate room availability to those interested exhibitors from the aviation industry and facilitated several business alternatives on this field.
